PAVAGES VARENNES
A division of Bauval inc., Pavages Varennes was created in 1974. Since then, the company has expanded its expertise to the design and manufacturing of value-added bituminous concrete. Whether providing conventional hot-mix bituminous concrete or developing warm or cold asphalt mix, the plant is breaking new ground.
Established by BAUVAL on a quarry site, the new bituminous concrete plant of Pavages Varennes has allowed the implementation of a first multipurpose division. This division is equipped with a research laboratory which analyzes and validates bituminous concrete’s characteristics and compliance.
Pavages Varennes can develop, for the production of conventional or high-performance asphalt mix, products made of reclaimed and recycled materials. These materials include demolition concrete and mineral materials produced on site. These recycled aggregate materials (MGR) comply with the NQ 2560-600 standard and are made of cement or bituminous concrete. These activities are part of BAUVAL’s vision to provide sustainable development, resulting in a company with a state-of-the-art expertise in the field.
Located near highway 30 (exit 136), in Varennes, (La Jemmerais M.R.C.), on the south-shore of Montréal, the Pavages Varennes plant is built on a privileged site. The large area allows the company to establish a dynamic industrial zone.
ISO 9001-2000 accredited, the company’s staff includes technicians, engineers and specialists who offer a broad range of expertise in all activities provided by the company.
