TRANSPORT J.P. PIGEON INC.
Established in 1976, Transport JP Pigeon inc., a BAUVAL inc. subsidiary, specialized in bulk hauling using first dump bodies and later, tarpaulin-covered platform bodies. Initially, the company’s service territory included only Quebec and Ontario markets. Twenty-four years later, with a fleet four times its initial size, the carrier has expanded its services to the U.S.
Based on a 15-year supplier-client relationship, the partnership between Tech-Mix® and Transport JP Pigeon allows BAUVAL to increase the efficiency of its product distribution and cost control.
The recent move into new facilities located in Verchères (La Jemmerais M.R.C.), in Quebec’s Montérégie area, will contribute to BAUVAL’s growth.
The carrier’s actual fleet includes truck-tractors, flat-bed trailers including B-Train, dump trailers and a road train (hupper) equipped with a waterproof tarpaulin.
