GEOLOGICAL HERITAGE
The quality of its various production sites’ deposits as well as their location allow Bauval to be a major key player and supplier in the extraction, processing, distribution and aggregate transportation (materials) fields.
Its six quarries, in the Greater Montreal area, are located in various geological areas, namely Grenville, Saint-Lawrence Lowlands and the Appalachain orogen. These areas provide BAUVAL with a varied, high-quality supply of materials.
The quarries’ operating potential is estimated at 150 million cubic meters of natural sand, gravel and very hard rock that can be used for the production of crushed aggregates.
